Tasty traditional sambar recipe :
1. Boil 150gms of dal for a litre of sambar.
2. Fry mustard, green chillies, curry leaves in 1tbs of oil, add one medium size chopped onions, two medium size chopped tomatoes, then add vegetables of your choice, salt for taste and 25gms of jeerapeppers sambar powder. Add boiled dal and boil it till vegetables cook.
3. Boil it for 5 mins, now add tamarind juice and boil for 5 more minutes, finally garnish with fresh corriander leaves.
